Brodig Mobile Phone Mount and Mag Safe Mount
« on: July 10, 2022, 11:15:05 AM »
I have bought the above and I am unsure regarding installation.

The dashboard mount has 3 locating holes, piloted.

The mag safe mount has 4 holes also, these don't match the holes on the dash mount.

Does the installer chose/drill their own holes?

Brodit vehicle ProClips have 4 pilot holes and the Brodit phone holders have 4 matching holes.

MagSafe is a different company so I'm not surprised.

Let's be careful out there !

FYI Brodit still only has the one mount available for the Mk4 Jazz - unfortunately it's positioned too low and passengers either whack their knee into it, or knock the whole mount off the dash when getting in/out!

I'm surprised, I've been a Brodit customer for many years but the Jazz mount is an awful position.

The Brodit ProClip for the 9G Civic was hopeless as well. Kept falling off.
Let's be careful out there !
