HR-V e:HEV Brochure on line AT LAST!
« on: November 24, 2021, 10:13:33 AM »
https://brochures.honda.co.uk/cars/hr-v-hybrid/?page=1I have just had a look and Honda have scored an own goal!.
An on line brochure with the printing so small you can't read it! Really clever, NOT!
I'll download it and see if I can then increase the page size.

Looks fine to me. All print is easily readable and if you tap on a page it zooms in.

+1
It will be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end !

I'm using a Macbook Air and the 'increase page size' button makes it smaller and the decrease size, makes it slightly bigger???? Just like the Honda back to front regen paddles ;D
Having downloaded the PDF I can use their size adjustment and it's fine.

On this Android tablet a double-tap enlarges the page

I see that the brochure states:

Road Departure Mitigation System
"A newly improved warning system that flags the possibility of your vehicle crossing over lane or road boundary markings"

Does "newly improved" mean that Honda has improved the RDMS provided on the Mk 4 Jazz or is it the same?

That’s exactly what I thought when I read that page of the brochure!

...Could that explain some of the differences we are experiencing between our models?

Interesting that, in the US, there is a "Warning Only" mode, meaning a visual warning only with no brake / steering inputs from the system (see 1:17 below):

Surely, a software update could introduce that same option for Jazz owners? The options are exactly the same, only named differently.

It would definitely reduce the negative feedback and negate the need to turn it off completely at each start.

The above video is an updated one for the 2022 Honda Civic (which uses identical infotainment to ours).

This is supposed to be the "Forum for the 4th generation Honda Jazz from 2020 to present".

It can be really interesting to read about the HR-V in this Jazz forum, especially when it comes to relevant differences or similarities with the Jazz.
However, the question is whether one topic in this forum for the 4th generation Honda Jazz would not be enough. At the moment I already count three four topics, which in my humble opinion could very well be combined into one HR-V topic.
If nothing goes right, go left!
