22 MY Jazz

The Honda UK website includes 22MY price list, although the brochure appears to still be 21MY.
Interestingly the price list only shows 2 models available, Jazz EX and EX style, so wonder if the SE and SR have been discontinued and if there are any spec changes to the EX.

I thought it weird that initial marketing for the EX style said it came with special extras like blind spot monitoring.

Perhaps they have cut some extras from the MY22 standard EX, as it was fitted on my MY21 EX.

Then maybe they cut some ££ from the price tag of the EX MY22 too...?  :P

£23k otr for a MY22 Jazz EX with standard paint, up a bit from last year I think (the MY21 price list only shows the SE and SR. )

My EX is 22 model. It has blind spot monitoring.
They do seem confused with their marketing- everything apart from the SE gets the 9 inch touchscreen, but in the MY22 price list they try to make out that only the style gets it:

Cannibalisation own goal with the EX style me thinks!

Sitting next to each other in the showroom, who wouldn't pay the extra grand for the HR-V!

As the name suggests its, as far as I can see, little more than a styling package. £2345 more than the EX.  On paper.

But metallic paint is standard, saving either £550 or £750 of the price difference, and nicer wheels which are a £760 option on the EX.
Plus a few other styling changes that might be a £860 option on the EX.   (or do they only come by adding the £1550 style plus pack ?)

Might be  cost effective for those who would otherwise order the same bells and whistles.  Otherwise ...... :o

I notice the SR mentions a tilting wing mirror to aid parking. (down to kerb?) Thats new I think.

With these apparent price increases, Honda is moving the Jazz far away from traditional competitors such as VW Polo, Ford Fiesta etc into an area where it will be competing against cars such as lower spec Golfs - and most buyers won’t be fussed about hybrid benefits as the Jazz still needs petrol in the tank. Not sure how this is going to map out.

I think they might have blown it. They had an opportunity to get good sales numbers at a competitive price, but a Yaris design is still only £21k before discount.

VW Polo/T-Cross auto under £23k and have a much higher quality feel than Jazz (but a worse engine/gearbox at low city speeds which is why I chose Jazz this time.)
