Eco

I've enabled Eco on my car to extend my MPG. Having Eco on doesn't appear to affect my driving experience. What are your thinks on Eco?
301 mostly short journey miles covered since the car was collected with a full tank. 320 miles remaining. I lurve my Jazz!  ;D

On a day like today, 28c to 30c where aircon is needed in open sun, that's when to try Eco.

If the same as the Civic then the Eco aircon will not cool the cabin very much, in fact it may even keep heating up.
Let's be careful out there !

I just went for a short drive. As you say, today in the UK it's hot, (28° at the moment). The aircon was working OK.

Eco increases the allowable difference between target and actual cabin temperatures. This definitely reduces the amount of time the engine runs in order to provide heating in cold conditions and may also turn off the A/C when going up a hill and the battery charge is low. Some folk reckon that Eco also reduces the willingness to accelerate but I'm happy with the performance when Eco is enabled.

I have eco on all the time, performance is still way better than my previous Jazz and it does make a difference to fuel consumption (I reckon 5-10% better)
