Jazz 2022 EX:
In direct sunshine the textured faux leather on the top of the dashboard reflects onto the windscreen causing a semi opaque effect that worries me a bit. I'm going to experiment with this stuff to see if a more matte finish will be better. Have you any thoughts on this? Is this reflection a problem for you?

Another benefit should be, after using that nice wide surface for cups of coffee and sandwiches, I can remove the fabric and give it a clean.  ;D

I've noticed that but I'll avoid any dash mat if I can.

Thought the windscreen was misted until I realised. I've given the dash a few cleans with matt finish stuff, see how that goes. It's certainly taken some of the shine off it.

Still sat in the garage on 19 miles, next trip Friday.

I'll be interested to hear your feedback from the matte finish. What did you use?

I am so disappointed to read that the new MK4 has the same problem as the MK3.
I thought I would be able to chuck out my felt pads stuck on to gripper mat when I bought a MK4.
How can Honda make another car with the same problem????

Polaroid sunglasses are the best solution.

PS.  I bet Fords don't suffer that issue ;).

I was not aware that this was a problem on previous models.

If that windscreen dazzle was cited as responsible for a fatality I think Honda would do something about it.

I'm now on my 5th Jazz with this Mk 4 EX
No problems with reflections on any of them.
Don't know whether it makes a difference, but I have always driven, with the drivers seat on the maximum height setting, could it be that my eyes are positioned above the reflection zone?

I have had this problem with both a MK2 and my MK3.
When I complained to Honda about it on the MK2 i was told it would be fixed on the MK3 but that did not happen.
I do have the seat as low as it will go but my cousin has the seat high but she still notices the reflection

Its strange how some people dont notice it at all whilst others, like myself, find it a big problem.
