Bar on dashboard
« on: April 02, 2021, 04:17:23 PM »
On my new crosstar, underneath the speed reading, is a very thin horizontal bar that reads zero at one end and 140 at the other.  It moves up or down as I'm driving, but I've no idea what it represents.  It's not the speed I'm doing as it doesn't correspond with the speedo. I just can't figure it out what it is,nor can I find it in the manual. Anyone know?

Is it the Instant Fuel Economy? Page 144 of the manual.

My Civic has one of those and I don't see the point.

You know whether you're pressing harder to climb a hill or easing off downhill or just holding it steady. I do find the the digital MPG average useful though.
Let's be careful out there !

Thank you.  Spot on.  Its instant fuel economy.  Seems a bit of a waste of time to put that on there
