Phone for radio.
« on: January 31, 2021, 10:57:25 PM »
On another thread, the poster was talking about replacing his defective radio, and the thread discussed replacing the regulator chip. I suggested using his phone for the radio.
Now my radio has been duff for a while, and I was making use of the CD player and an iPod for our music needs.
I have purchased a regulator chip but will only replace it if I have to remove the radio for some other reason.
Today I decided to try the radio out. I have never looked near it since getting the phone, but the radio app was there.
So today I had the radio on my phone, connected to the Aux socket (the short lead acted as an effective aerial) and we had music and chat for our trip today. Something for others to remember for the future.
