ECU and fuel injectors
« on: November 24, 2019, 04:12:00 PM »
Hi everyone,

I've been a proud jazz owner for a while but just found this forum! I have a 2013 I-Vtec S 1.2L petrol GG5.

But my jazz is in peril, took it into honda and they said the ECU and injectors 2&3 had blown. And quoted £1700 to fix her!

So I set out to save her myself. I've already sorted the ECU (sent it off for repair to ECU testing). But I'm having trouble sourcing the right injectors.

Any ideas where I could source the correct injectors for my jazz?

P.s. does anyone know of a good guide to follow to replace the injectors too? Haynes manual? Anyone done it and have any tips?

Looking forward to hearing your advice.

Thanks

Jocko

Thanks Jocko,

That manual will be useful!

As for the injectors, the eBay listing you sent is for the 1.4L engine, I have a 1.2L. But does it matter I wonder? I'd like to find out the exact part number for the fuel injectors. I might have to pull one out to find it.

I hope I can fix her. Love the jazz, such an awesome car

Parts for Mk2 in 2012 should be same as 2013 as Mk3 started in 2013.

Hiya

Did you have any trouble after re-installing the ecu?
I managed to drive 200 miles back to Yorkshire before the car went back into Limp Mode.
Please post details when you source your injector,

Good luck, joe
