Title: GD Air Conditioning Drain Location?
Post by: guest150 on July 15, 2010, 12:37:08 PM
Hi,
Does anyone know where this is? My Jazz's air con system has developed a foul smell when you switch it on. Apparently this is due to a build up of mould etc in the system. I have purchased an air con disinfectant product from Wurth which you need to insert into the air con drain.

cheers,

D

Its located on the underside of the car.

On the passenger side of engine compartment.

If you can run the a/c and you should see drops of water underneath especially in hot weather.

Try buying an aerosol air con 'disinfectant' that you let off in the car, a lot easier.

The pollen filter is behind the glove box which pulls out to allow access. The details of how to remove the glovebox and P/filter are in the handbook.

Cheers, I'll check the handbook. I didn't even know I had a pollen filter. Although I would assume this should have been changed at some point as part of a service
