Title: Nose Weight on the official Honda Cycle attachment/ Tow bar

Has anyone had the cycle attachment/towbar fitted and can help with these simple questions.

What is the nose weight for the cycle attachment/tow bar.

Is the tow ball hitch detachable.

I have tried two dealers, written and rung Honda Customer services and no one can seem to answer these questions.

I have a towbar cycle carrier at 17.3kg two ebikes at 13kg without batteries ( 16kg with battery) giving a nose weight of between 44-50kg.

The user guide for the bike attachment says a total weight of 50kg

Hi Steve,

You do not know if it has a detachable tow ball hitch ( the swan neck) do you?

Glad you could answer the noseweight question as the dealer could not

Brilliant!

I have calculated our total weight of rack and bikes and it comes out at around 44.3 kilos.

There will only ever be two of us in the car with the bikes and we weigh 117.5 kg so we should be ok.

Am I right that the cycle rack Honda sell is the Thule 925?
