Hi Guys,

We bought a Jazz at the weekend. When we switch the radio on, there's a constant cricking noise from low to high and even with a cassette (that's just to test it with). Its like the speakers have been bust but the seller told us its the head unit not the speakers. Has anyone had this before? I'm getting a CD player from eBay from a Jazz breaker, is it simple as it will plug in or are the plugs different?

Thanks,
Arif

If it is a similar Honda unit, the plugs should be the same.

With it being a "built-in" head unit, it's a bit of a faf getting it out as the heater control knobs and the like need removing.

Not sure if this is of any help as you have a 2003, but I suppose it'll point you in the right direction.
