Sometimes you just want to drive the car, no screens, no music.....nothing.
Now if I don't touch the startup up screen at all after a while it goes blank.....great.
If I do select the home button something remains on the screen for the duration of the journey......that's ok

The radio comes on every time I startup, I know I can turn the volume down and the next time I start it's as if it's off.
Then I have to reset the volume the next time I want the radio on.

Can I switch the radio on and off without playing with the volume control ?
Can I switch it off and next time I startup it stays off ?

There is an off button top right of the screen.

I tried that and nothing.........perhaps it needs holding for a while or with a bit more force.

Most car radios I have had recently either come on or not depending on the state before the ignition was turned off. If you are listening to the radio and you switch the ignition off it will come on the next time you turn the ignition on, If you switch it off then turn the ignition off it stays off next time you turn the ignition on.

The unit have three/four parts, Audio, Telephone, INFO and Navi (if provided). Pressing the button on the left top corner you switch on/off only the audio part, the remaining softwares keep working. If you want the blank screen, you must press the right top button, switching off only the screen.
