Their "See compatible vehicles" doesn't include the Jazz.

Says on opieoils.co.uk that they fit 2005-2017 Civic 1.4 of which 2009+ have the same engine as the Jazz. So a bit odd If they don’t fit the Jazz.

My car is a 2014 1.2 S, it's serviced every 12.5k miles or 12 months by the local dealer where I bought it from and it's now done 83k.

It's just gone in for a service today and they have always used 0w20.

Dealers buy their oil direct from OPEC by the ton and use same oil for everything, engines, gearboxes etc......  Why bother keeping all those different oils when you can keep the bean counters happy by having just one.

‘Proper’ plug for MK2

https://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-79449-ngk-difr6d13-94167-laser-iridium-spark-plug-sparkplug-fits-honda-crz-hybrid.aspx?VariantID=124536

alternative below ( these have been in my wifes Jazz MK2 for almost 2 years now )

https://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-79514-ngk-izfr6k13-6774-iridium-ix-spark-plug-sparkplug-platinum-ground-electrode.aspx

see this thread ( Reply #36 ) - has pictures of DIF and IZF ( PDF attachments ) - IZF has same spark position and heat range as DIF,  and as I said IZF has been in wifes car for quite a while now without a problem.

https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=11425.msg74993#msg74993

I found some plugs online that are equivalent to the IZF plugs you sent. What do you think of them?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-Set-of-4-Double-Iridium-Spark-Plugs-0242240675-GENUINE-5-YEAR-WARRANTY/153071381944?epid=248844532&hash=item23a3c3edb8:g:DiUAAOSwUXFbLQuX

They are the same price as the proper NGK used as OEM,  would be interested why you would want to buy those rather than proper ones ?

Attached is part of invoice for servicing our 2015 last July, dealer used 5W-30.

I thought C3 was low ash oil for diesels with DPF? No reason why you can't use it in a petrol, it just meets the low ash standard too.

They are good quality Bosch plugs but better value for money as you get 4 plugs.

Yep, as I say it's suitable for petrols and diesels, I presume they shove it in everything. I use the same stuff in our Vauxhall diesel as it's dexos 2 approved too.

Just saying that C3 is low ash standard, lower than A5/B5. Either standard can be used in the Jazz, nothing wrong with Shell or Castrol.

Moral of the story is...as long as you change your fully synthetic oil using a well known brand at the correct interval, it should be fine, be it, 0-20w, 5-35w, GTX, Peanut oil....lol!

My manual for the Mk 1 recommends 5w-30 but also says you can use 0w-20 or 10w-40. No specific oil, just the API Service SL or higher grade.

I haven't even looked at the manual for our mk 2, but it's getting 5W-30 whether it likes it or not... same as the other one.

2014 1.2 S,
?

Not sure what you're asking Jocko, it's a 2014 Jazz, the basic S model as opposed to SE, EX etc.
