Hi,
Honda decided to do away with them as not many people used them, you can change down as quickly with a heavy right foot😊

Can't comment on the 15 plate, but mine is a Mk 3 on a 66 plate and it certainly has paddles.

chrisv is right Honda stopped fitting them on some Mk2 cvt models  but they are fitted on the Mk3. I use the down paddle quite a lot for deceleration and on steep hills, I would not want to have auto without paddles.

You can use the throttle to effectively change up on the Mk3 and S Sport mode gives more engine braking but is not as effective as the downshift paddle

I do not really do not use the up paddle very much the cvt works well but I like to use the down paddle when I need more control.

The Alfa156 semi automatic had years ago had paddles and I found them great as well.

It was the final/last production run of the Mk2 Jazz before the Mk3 came out in the UK that had no paddles, I remember being at my local Honda dealers when my Jazz was being serviced and I wandered round the showroom looking at the new cars when I noticed the Jazz on show had no paddles.

I commented on it to one of the salesmen who actually did not know and had to go and look for himself to confirm I was right.  ::)

Hobo's comments are correct , the Jazz Sport 1.5 + CVT + paddles should be in UK delearships on demo mid month.
I was in a new HRV with CVT the other day and the car was busy compared to our Mk2 Jazz 1.3 + CVT - may have been the driver.
Wouldn't go back to manual given the traffic in towns.

Were the shifters an extra option? Can they be fitted if I really wanted them? I’m feeling I might be missing out!
