Window sill edging/rubber trim
« on: October 10, 2019, 10:08:46 AM »
Hi Team

Just recently picked up a pretty clean 2005 1.5 VTEC for me and my partner as a daily runaround. Been pretty impressed so far.

Only one cosmetic thing is annoying me. The rubber edging/trim on the edge of the drivers door by the window has worn through to show bare metal. Not talking about the inner seal that touches the glass, but the adhesive black rubber edging along the window sill of the door.

Wondering if this trim is available as an OEM part, or if anyone knows of any aftermarket product that'd give a 'near-OEM' look?

See pics.

Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions!

I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to rub down, mask up, re-prime and respray satin black. Should look like new.
