Sorry, I posted this in the New Members forum in error. I have just bought this 2012 Jazz. Fine so far, but the battery must have been allowed to go flat while with the dealer, so the radio will not work, and a code is requested. I have the code card, but this is not accepted. After several goes, the radio locked out and I had to disconnect the battery to clear it. The previous owner assures me that the radio is original, so I am stuck. Any ideas anyone?

Can we assume that the radio was working when you tested the car and has since stopped working?
Since you appear to have bought it from a dealer the car is guaranteed for six months by law so you can always take it back.
I am sorry to say that other than that I can't help.

Dealer should be able to do it from VIN#. There's no downloadable magic number generator that I know of.

Thanks for the replies. I tried again, repeatedly using the supplied code, and the radio unlocked at the ninth attempt. Makes no sense to me at all.

Well done for keeping trying.

www.hondaradiocodes.com doesn't work, icon just keeps going around and even though they sent me an email that my request for a code had been processed when I clicked on the link it still took me back to the 'processing' screen with the icon going around. Anyone else used them and had a different experience? Thanks
