So I got my wireless android auto working in my car! Thanks to Roman!
You do below entirely at your own Rick, don’t do it if in any doubt.
Setup was quick and easy.
Install android auto to your phone from Google’s play store.
Turn the car on or start it.
Delete current Bluetooth connection, in the infotainment system & your phone.
Pair your phone to car Bluetooth.
Press Home+volume +>>- -
Above may take 2 or 3 attempts , for the screen with “Smartphone Information” press smartphone information.
Press the android tab, opposite the Apple tab.
Select usb and wireless.
I would press the apple tab and select none if you don’t have an apple.
Press return several time to get back to the home screen.
You should now see an android auto button to press, press it.
It will now ask to pair if wireless connection is desired, pair again!
Do not press anything else, you may cause serious problems.
It should now work, it did for me!!
If not please see Romans’ post for more help.
My phone is a OnePlus 8T, with android version: Oxygen 11.0.7.10.KB05BA
You do above entirely at your own risk don’t do any of above if in doubt.
