Although an impressive mechanical achievement and advert for your skills, heavily modifying the Jazz always seems a bit like the classic directions "you don't want to start from here" - you could just get an Audi RS3 or AMG A45, as probably a quicker track car and have some retained value.

I think it's much more personal than that. Wether it's £5 sticker or £5000 build its about building something unique and how you want it. Of course AmG might be faster and has better value but it's nothing unique and someone will have the exact same car which wouldn't be the case with this. I doubt it's about being fastest either as there will always be one guys who is faster than you.
