Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: Meguiar's Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax - Amazing Product!
« Last post by peteo48 on July 08, 2025, 09:59:20 PM »It's an endless debate in the detailing world. The same also applies to rinseless washes (slightly different in that you do use water albeit only to apply the product not to rinse off at the end.)
I value your input. It works for you and I have no reason to disbelieve you. My own view is that these products work best on a little and often basis - ie don't let the crud build up.
I am a big fan of rinseless. All that dragging hoses and pressure washes out along with buckets etc etc. I am also old! I haven't done a traditional wash for ages.

I charged it back up and popped it back in the Jazz just in case
You are correct the GB40 is overkill and the GB20 would be plenty for the Jazz

It must really feel good to have you as a friend! (well done!)
For the record: A Noco GB40 is heavy "overkill" for a hybrid Jazz (as the ICE gets cranked by the e-engine powered by the HV-battery) unless - of course - you have to help out a friend with a big diesel engine

For a hybrid Jazz a Noco GB20 is more than sufficient. It is only needed to provide enough power to help the 12V battery to startup the HV-system.

I used it for the first time yesterday to help a friend get his Mazda Bongo 2.5 diesel going
It took just a couple of minutes to get him started

I understand that but if members already have Prime it’s a bargain price for NOCO

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / NOCO Jump Starters - Amazon Prime Day Deal
« Last post by ninanina on July 08, 2025, 11:09:47 AM »Just thought I’d let people know that the NOCO that I own, the GB40, is on a Prime Day deal @ £80. I paid a lot more for mine
Also the GB20 is on Prime Day at just £64… that’s a bargain for a NOCO and it’s definitely powerful enough to start any hybrid
They are great jump starters

Engine also seems a litte quieter but could just be me thinking that.

« Last post by ColinB on July 08, 2025, 09:38:40 AM »The reported crash does NOT seem to fit with others experience.
Maybe some other contributory factor?
Well, only with the failures reported on this forum.
How many VIN No. affected Jazz owners are there that aren't on this forum?
Quite a lot I imagine.
278 people on forum have given the car colour, maybe/maybe not all members but a reasonable number to give a reflection of failure rate in the general population - maybe someone can count number of failures and if car moving or static?
Was discussed last year. See post #525 ...
