Is the Crosstar pretending to be a SUV?. People trading in SUVs may think that.

Weirdly I quite like the look of the Ora cat - it looks strange, but I like it

Looks a cracking little car. Low price and BIG range. Great Wall are a long established company, China's biggest Pick-up and SUV manufacturer. So the quality should be ok as far as Chinese Quality goes. (At least MG seem to have learnt by their mistakes now)
I love the looks, Mixture twixt Beetle and F.I.A.T. 500.
I think they will have a winner there.
Alas too small for my next car (he says, having just collected the latest 4 days ago!) ;D

The Honda main dealer I picked up my car from had two MG's sitting on the forecourt - it may be that they start selling them alongside Hondas?

Maybe MG and Honda will do a tech sharing venture like Suzuki and Toyota?

I was at my dealer in Friday having my mk3 serviced, whilst waiting I was looking at a new Crosstar being offloaded from a transporter, another customer commented that it was ”f**king ugly”, obviously it's looks are subjective, I'd have one, in fact I considered trading mine in and held back because of the current financial climate, I find the Crosstar to look more conventional with its grill than the other models, certainly nothing that would put me off.

With regard to the MG franchises, they are in the same dealerships as Nissan in my area, I suspect they sell really well as I see loads about.

I tend to buy a car on what it looks and feels like on the inside as that's where I spend most of the time.
Let's be careful out there !

A relative used to go to school with Tom Jones' son and often got a lift with his dad, Tom in his Rolls Royce.  Tom's son used to insist he dropped the boys off round the corner as the Rolls wasn't a cool car to be seen in.  Sorry about the name dropping but an absolutely true story.

When I was growing up Rolls Royce used to be assoicated with the likes of J*mmy S*vile and Bernard Manning. Then around 20 years ago the likes of 50 cent, Snoop Dogg or Pharrell starting appearing with them in music videos - that was a WTF moment at first. It must be an American thing, I guess older white men over there were always assoicated with Cadillacs and Lincolns.

...and I love it when Americans refer to Range Rovers as 'Rovers'. There was a song out a few years back with the lyric "So, baby pull me closer, In the back seat of your Rover, That I know you can't afford".  :D
