Jack required for my EX!
« on: November 01, 2011, 01:22:01 PM »
Thanks to olduser1 I now have a full size spare for my car. However, I do not have a jack!
Halfords do a resonably priced screw jack. Does anybody have experience of using a non-Honda jack on their Jazz?

All comments welcome.

You should have a Jack supplied with the Jazz, in my ES it is stored at the back of the spare wheel well behind a flap just under the hatch sill, I did not have a space saver or spare with my car. You still need a jack to use the tyre gunk.

Was going to say same.   Went to change my car on to winters & thought I had no jack.  Quick squint at the manual revealed jack's location, hidden behind the flap.  ;D

Gawd, I feel such a wally!  :-[
To think that this is my third Jazz and I'd have never found it without your help.

Guy coming round tomorrow from eTyres to fit a matching Dunlop.
We set off for Paris on Thursday and didn't want to go without a spare. I'll be selling the dealer supplied space saver when they finally deliver it!

Just back from offroading in the Pyrenees via the Paris Periferique, enjoy the chaos!

I'm staying at the Ibis in Opera Bastille! Peripherique holds no fears for me - been driving in Paris for more years than I care to remember. Try driving round the Arc de Triomphe if want scary stuff. It's an old rules roundabout (give way to traffic joining)!  :-\
Some beautiful country down near the Pyrenees n'est pas!

EFit guy turned up bang on time and tyre fitted in no time!  :D

Fantastique!  ;D

We have friends near Auch (Gers) and their garden overlooks the Pyrenees. Fantasic views in winter but massive temperature swings - +24C daytime and -10C nightime!
