firt post Honda jazz 2014 Si Usb connector
« on: February 21, 2024, 11:36:08 AM »
Hi, first post here. I have a 2014 Jazz Si, and I know if I want to hook up my phone to the USB to play music, I need a connector for the USB. The problem is that every compatible cable appears to only work with Jazzs up to 2013. Any idea where I can get a compatible one? I'm assuming that connecting a phone to AUX is worse sounding, from what I've heard?

many thanks

Hi, I never tried my phone, but used a Memory Stick with all my music on it.  It was a very good way of listening to music.
I used a Bluetooth device clipped over the survivor for phone calls.
Until I upgraded the radio to a touchscreen Panasonic,  by buying a replacement centre panel to fit it.  It was all plug and play, works well with the steering wheel controls too.
Mine is also a 2014 mk ll model.

There is a different part number for 2013-2015 Jazz for the USB sub lead - 39114-TL0-901

But as to the difference between it and the 2009-2012 Jazz lead 39114-TF0-003, I can see no difference as both the lead that it goes into and the holder in the dashboard are the same.

Sorry, but I can't help there, I sold my connection with the old radio.
I would start at a breakers yard you'll be able to try it or your dealership to confirm the required part number?
