Fog light switch

Hello People,

I have just bought a fog light kit for my 04 S.

On the stalk there are Four positions,

1.  white dot off
2. rotating the switch down which spings back to white dot.
3. rotating switch up, stays put shows pic of rear fog.
4. rotating switch down past pos 3 springs back up to pos 3.

Am i right in thinking that the front fogs dont stay on all the time, or does the switch turn them on then you have to flick the switch again to turn them off?

Just wanted to check before i go cutting big holes in the bumper.

On my '05 Sport CVT you have to flick the switch again to turn the fog lights off otherwise they will come on every time you switch your lights on. There is however a green light comes on to show that the fogs are on when you do switch the headlights on. As your car was presumably not meant to have fog lights this indicator may not come on.

...as Peter said, in my case (2009) I have to manualy turn off the switch also ...

This is manuel for the new model if you change the indicator along


And this if you operate them with the switch
