clearing the windscreen washer ?
« on: September 27, 2010, 01:13:07 AM »
The passenger drive washer nozzle keeps clogging up - the garage just blow it out with compressed air but it just clogs again.  I cant seen an easy way to get into the bulkhead so that I can remove the plastic pipe and clear it that way - any suggestions?

I wonder if its algae or some such thing that's clogging it. could you drain the wash bottle and replace it with baby sterilising fluid (check that whatever you use is OK with your paintwork) and let it soak overnight

I had to clean mine the other day.

The blow out and the draining doesn`t help.

Pull down the hose of the nozzle, than pull upwards out the nozzle. When the nozzle is in your hand you have to pull out the white plug of the bottom of the nozzle. Be very careful at this stage because there is a very small tiny ball inside above the spring! Better if you do that above a clean table/desk. When you dismantled you can clean it.

Max. 5 minutes job.
