Diagnose Dan on Youtube,   He  tackles the faults on cars which the dealers cannot fix, he gives some very clear  explanations on topics such as Canbus.

Here is a sample of about the sensors for the Catalytic convertor:

Dan does not deal with many Honda or Toyota products though,  they are too reliable and well engineered

I do like Bangers & Cash.

There was a guy on there a few series back who restores 1960's Sunbeam Rapiers. They were very nice cars with the very reliable 1725cc engines.
Let's be careful out there !

My favourite at the moment is "Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars". They buy good classic cars (for the most part) then sympathetically restored them and sell on at a profit.

I've driven one of these - it was my Mum's car - beautiful drive. It was a two tone - a sort of British Racing Green with cream iirc. Lovely wooden fascia as well.

I liked the lack of B pillar. A friend of my dad had one from new and on idle it was like the engine had stopped, no noise or vibration.
Let's be careful out there !

New series of Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars on Quest tonight (Thursday 2nd) at 9pm.
Top Gear returns on Sunday.
And not strictly car related but worth checking out is Shed and Buried on Quest.

Dispatches, "Why Is My Car So Expensive?" Channel 4, 8pm Monday 15th August

"Dispatches investigates the soaring cost of both new and second-hand cars. Used electric runabouts are getting listed for as much as £60k. Old bangers are fetching a pretty penny. And the waiting list for new cars can be over a year. But what’s behind the surge in prices?

Can it all be put down to global factors like the war in Ukraine, Covid and supply chain problems? Reporter and motoring journalist Ginny Buckley delves behind the scenes to find out if there is more going on and finds a car industry that’s making huge profits with questions to answer.

Buckley also looks at the knock-on effects, such as rising car crime, and crashed cars with a hidden history being sold for a premium, as she advises how to make sure you don’t get ripped off when making the second biggest purchase of your life."

Top Gear back is back tonight.

I prefer to record or watch on iPlayer then skip through the duff bits. :D

Does anyone here watch The Late Brake Show on YouTube? Presented by Jonny Smith, once a Fifth Gear presenter (and he has appeared on other motoring shows). There are usually 2 episodes that go out a week, covering not just car reviews but stuff for car enthusiasts generally. No silliness like Top Gear, just honest, down to earth presenting.

Just watched it for the first time after reading your post. Brilliant. Super professional and Jonny is a great, affable presenter. He does stuff for Fully Charged as well. I will certainly watch more episodes.
