It's odd how rarely you see any of your old cars.

I've probably had 30 plus cars (many of them bangers in the early years) but have only ever seen one of them after I sold it/traded it in.

I used to see my old Hyundai (my first car) often up to ten years after I sold it. It's now disappeared from the DVLA free vehicle check so it is no more.

Still offering mine and I traded it in April. They did offer me £400 more than any Honda Dealer but couldn't wait for the New Jazz. I'll change again in 2017, perhaps they'll have ironed out New Jazz problems.

Spooky isn't it.
We sold a Renault Megan With it's personnel plate in about 2003, at that time we lived in East London but part exchanged it to a dealer in Hertfordshire.
We moved/retired to deepest Essex in 2010, about 2hrs drive from east London and 3hrs from Hertfordshire, and since then we have seen the Renault many times in our local area, it still has the personnel plate.
