Back in the fold - new Jazz due later this month
« on: March 15, 2011, 06:54:05 PM »
After a break of 4 years I have decided to sell the Subaru and order a new '2012' model Jazz.
After a short test drive it convinced me the newer model has both improved  ride and overall noise levels.
A quick email around local dealers identifed the exact spec colour and a deposit secured the car.
We cannot wait... lower running costs cheaper insurance 3 year service deal from Honda UK and a car that I can enjoy driving.
I'll keep the forum posted when upgrading with accessories etc

Happy days

When you  refer to improved ride, are you comparing it with the GD or the first edition of the GE?

I owned & ran a couple of the early Jazz  2002 then 2005 and 2006 test drove 2 of the 2009 model years 1 man box the other i-shift.
The lastest  Jazz is much quieter over B roads and has in my view a better ride than any of the other modela inc the 2009 cars.
When i pick mine up I'll let the forum know how the first 1000 miles goes

I drove a 2010 1.2 si courtesy car a couple of weeks ago and then test drove a 2012my 1.4 ES CVT
the following day. I have to say there was a noticable difference.

better looking dash.
better seats
better ride
road and engine noise slightly better.
better overall spec.

So looks like my mum will be trading her Civic for a new Jazz in the next week or so.

Honda are offering a complementary 3 yr service option at present the dealers reckon it may notbe extended so if your order & register this month - another reason to get the '2012' model
