selling price for Honda jazz SE auto
« on: July 23, 2021, 04:03:41 PM »
Hi, I am thinking of selling my Honda Jazz 2017, auto, 27000 miles, good condition and Honda serviced, there seems to be a big variation on pricing to sell. Would value any thoughts as to what I should ask, garage or private? I need something that sits a bit higher, looking at Skoda Yeti but they also hold their price. Many thanks .

Try auto trader, whatcar for valuations, then put your Jazz on motorway.co.uk a site were trade will bid for clean used. Also try your local Honda dealership you never know...

I put my 2015ex on autotrader and went with their valuation. It cost about £50.00 for 3 weeks with the ability to loads plenty of photos.
I eventually sold it to a dealership who gave me what l was asking for, the money was in my account on the Monday and it was collected on the Tuesday.
The annoying thing was I latter saw it on their website for £2,450.00 than they paid. Good second hand cars are going up in value.

So perhaps pop into local dealer then.

Don't listen to any garage trying to offer you normal book to buy your car.

Used prices are going crazy at the moment.

I bought my 1.5 sport recently and wbac offered 600 more than I paid for it!

Just checked with WBAC and quoting  £8770 which seems low to me, realising that they deduct money for the slightest thing. Does anyone have access to Parker’s guide maybe?  Thanks.

I just had a look on Auto Trader. There are 7 similar cars, 6 of which are sold by Honda dealers.
Dealer's prices range from £12990 for 5K miles to £9500 and 42K.
The private sale is £7350 and the car has done 15.5K.
