In some countries you just have drive on which ever side is best.  ;)

In India, if the cow is on left you have to go on right
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot

Of course. It stands for Ruminant Detection and Missing System.

Add in the consideration that the UK is an oddball, being right hand drive in a left hand drive world,  why do those minnows go to the expense  of re-engineering for RHD  for a few thousand sales per annum?

That is really no problem for the Japanese car manufacturers. It seems that in Japan people also drive on the wrong side (RHD) of the road.... ;D
So everything that is produced for the home market can also be delivered at your island(s) after a sea voyage, right?

Yet Honda are now selling so few cars here people are wondering if they'll continue.  It's even more of a marginal brand in the rest of Europe.

My local dealer (Cheshire Oaks) just added MG alongside Honda in the showroom.  That Honda allowed that says it all, really.

I’ve owned my Mk4 EX for about 3 months and I’ve not seen another one on the road around the West Midlands yet!
This must say something about Honda sales, although my dealer reckons sales are good, I wonder……………..

I live between Bath and Bristol and have never seen another Crosstar. One of the local dealers which I used closed, there is another in Bath but if that closes it will be inconvenient. I don't know why they're not doing more advertising as it's an excellent product. I wonder what Honda's long term strategy is for Europe?

How many vehicles do Honda sell in UK? Anyone know?

Just answered my own question! In 2019 Honda sold just under 44,000 cars in UK. Total worldwide sales were 5.3 million, so UK represents less than 1% of total sales (0.82% to be precise). It’s not surprising that the UK gets new models later than other markets and it wouldn’t be that surprising if they pulled out of the UK totally. Something to think about with regard to dealer coverage and future spares/servicing.
