All the available power units for the 2022 season are an unknown factor as they will be to the new regulations. Renault may be reluctant to supply Red Bull/Alpha Tauri after Red Bull failed to give Renault due credit for their successful relationship in the past.

I wish every manufacturer would exit F1 asap,  12 months in  a medically induced coma holds more appeal to me than an F1 race

F1 is without doubt the best sport on TV. Why don't you like it?

Just watch and compare the races  of the 1950s such as Vanwall, BRM and then current modern F1.
One is a real race with the  activity and excitement of competitive (sadly dangerous) , the other may as well be  is a high-speed  procession of Scalectrix cars.

I agree, it's just a circular procession nowadays. Anything risky sometimes gets penalised so they are not allowed to truly race.

These days I just look at the results.

It is a procession, too much technology and not enough driver. On a lot of circuits the result is basically known before race starts ( certain cars are better on certain circuits etc. ).   If you like the old time thrill of FI, look at  MotoGP, BSB and WSB motorbike racing (60 minutes of highlights shown on ITV 4  ) - now that is exciting, the lead can change several times in a lap - and the driver ( rider ) is not just a 'add on' to look after the tech.
