Can just one mirror be folded while the engine is running?
« on: September 21, 2019, 08:55:45 PM »
Hello Folks

I've joined this esteemed forum for a little advice, if possible.

I'm looking at buying a 2019 basic S version.

My garage was built in the 1950s, and with mirrors extended the car won't fit through the opening. Can just one mirror (driver's side) be folded leaving the other extended for manoeuvring in reverse?

Thanks in advance.

the s has manual mirrors you fold in yourself from the outside (no button), you can fold one or both while engine is running, i have a 68 plate Jazz S also they are not heated which is a shame but they are colour coded with led indicators in like the higher models

Ah, right! Thank you Dave. I understood they folded electrically. Manual mirrors are perfect. Thank you.
