Hi all, changed a reversing light bulb yesterday, worked briefly and then went off, the other side as well. Got back in the car and noticed that all the warning lights fail to illuminate when you switch on the ignition, the rev counter doesn’t work and the info centre dial is blank. The car starts and runs ok !
I assume that a fuse has gone somewhere but the handbook is confusing, there seems to be fuse boxes all over the place. The issues must  be connected as they all happened at the same time.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Cheers, Paul.

I've read similar stories on the Civic forum.

In the majority of cases it was because the new bulb was a cheapo and the terminal end was just a few flimsy wires. As the bulb was inserted, and twisted, the wires moved and caused a short circuit which blew a fuse.

I've seen the same when some have changed a bulb with an LED.
Let's be careful out there !

The related fuse to the reverse lights and meter is the 7.5A fuse number 34 in the underdash (drivers side) fuse box.
