rear windscreen - rubber trim
« on: August 01, 2022, 05:42:14 PM »
Just noticed this morning that the rear windscreen rubber trim along the lower edge distorted into the groove it is filling just above both light clusters – see photo left side.

Easily fixed by careful insertion of probe and reforming back onto light edge.

Has anyone else seen this and is there a replacement more rigid seal.

Could be water jetting whilst cleaning?

There are a few other places where  quite soft 'memory foam', type rubber has been used such as along the front of the bonnet and between the front door and back door,  presumably to aid aerodynamics.

Lets hope it remains durable and UV resistant.

I have the same problem on my EX 2021. I pulled the rubber back with a credit card but after a few days in the sun it goes back behind the lights.

Checked our EX 2021 yesterday. Still flawless.
