My wife was keen on the Midnight Blue scheme but I actually prefer white. I think the car looks dowdy in dark colours.

I've got the midnight blue (as per my avatar but that's a stock photo not my actual car). I think I know what you mean. On a bright day the metallic really pops but, on a dull day, most people think my car is black!

I have a Crosstar on order in red. For me it’s the only colour available with a bit of life in it.
The light blue one that has done the rounds with the press I think is not good and I think Hondas choice in loaning that colour car out, has encouraged many people not to have one.

Crosstar inside choice is not hard to decide as there is only one colour option.

My wife has a Aygo white with a red roof and trims and it was not our first choice but when purchased Aygo automatics with climate control were very hard to get and this one became available,  personally I would not have a white or black car. But we are all different thankfully.
I do like a colour that can be seen in bad light conditions

I found the same with my Violet Mk2.

Red is not a good colour in poor light; it looks grey. White or bright yellow is far better.

...The Sunlight White resembles a 'putty' colour in some lighting conditions and grey in others. Occasionally it looks whiteish :D
It's not a colour I would've chosen originally but red was apparently unavailable until 2022 ;)
I'm glad I did now though :)

The platinum white pearl also looks flat white in normal light or when it’s a bit dirty.

It’s only in bright sunlight when clean that you can see the pearl metallic effect.

I dont see why they needed two pearl effect whites.  A flat white as a no cost option would have been better.

As it is here in Poland: Tafetta White as no cost option... We have the choice: 3 (three!) whites..

I had the choice of Black or wait until May. I paid extra for the shiny coating and am very happy with it. I also like the light grey interior its very uplifting.

Our EX is Midnight Blue. It has the pale interior which is nice and bright. I bought some seat covers for when we are muddy after dog walking.

Greetings from NZ.

I’m getting a Premium Opal Pearl colour.

It was the same colour that I like on their showroom that made me decide.

I have been looking at the Jazz colours on the Honda website configurator and I am a little disappointed. My personal preference is for a lighter colour and I was hoping for the light blue I saw on a Japanese video.  I generally like metallic red but I am not sure about it on the Jazz, hopefully I will soon see one in the flesh.   The grey colour looks OK but on the EX it comes with light coloured seat fabric and I wonder about the practicality of this.  Currently white is at the top of my list and is quite acceptable to me although having had a white car for the past 3 years I was considering a change.

The light fabric really enhances the spacious feeling of the interior.

There are a few white exterior with white interior Jazz around.

As well as my own, I’ve previously seen one secondhand for sale.

Generally the light interior isn’t too bad for marks. A few dirt marks have come off with a wet wipe so far.

On the opposite side, there is a Japanese trader in the process of joining the Civic site as a vendor and he reckons he should be able to source the black cup holders for the UK.

Once he's fully set up I'll see.

Not holding my breath though.
Let's be careful out there !
