Weird keyless responses
« on: November 24, 2018, 08:26:54 AM »
A couple of times now I've had the car beep at me as I leave it after switching the engine off. Yesterday it did it repeatably three or four times after I've parked in my garage. As soon as I was half out of the car it gave the multiple 'your keys aren't in the car' sound. Since the ignition was off by that time it shouldn't have cared.

Anyone else had this?

Your car is obviously thoroughly hacked off by being molested and slanged off by a computer geek.  ;D

Well it's going to regret annoying me. My response to uppity devices is to shout and swear at them. They soon back down :)

Random guess - does it mean the fob battery is low?

Maybe but last time that happened I got the warning indication on the dash and changed them. Just another oddity I suppose. Apparently my car has started crying when I leave it   ;D
