Title: Remove Honda Jazz radio
Post by: RichardA on January 28, 2013, 09:24:45 PM
Here is a video showing how to remove the factory radio to the Honda Jazz/Fit from 2002 to 2008.

Installation of iPod/USB or AUX-in connection or accessing the heating/ventilation controls to replace a bulb will also require removing the radio.

The video shows a US-spec LHD car but the principle is the same:

And from the hondafitjazz site - again, another LHD car but easy to follow:

I found the best way to get the radio out after taking out the screws was to take the glove box out and try and get your hand behind the radio.  Then try and push the headunit out as the clips can be quite stiff.  This was the easiest way I had found to get my headunit out after I thought it had broken but found out after I had taken it out my lovely nephew had decided to feed the CD player 2 pence pieces which shorted out the radio and blew the fuse after I had driven over any bump bigger than a pea.  Hope it helps.
