Hazard warning lights
« on: June 13, 2021, 03:01:16 PM »
I suddenly came up to stationary traffic on the a A1 dual carriageway this week and was impressed to find that heavy braking automatically activated the hazard warning lights, which saved me a job when everything was happening quickly.  It’s probably in the handbook somewhere, but I’ld not experienced it before.  (Error - I intended this for the Mk3 section).

It is a common (and might be even mandatory for some EU regulations and EuroNCAP) behaviour since almost ten years for all new cars... lucky you, that it took so long to discover it, this means you hadn't experience a panic stop
