NFU won't touch my postcode. They seem to frown on urban.
Let's be careful out there !

been with 1st central for a few years now, easy to deal with, prices don't rise every year, haven't had to use them for a claim yet to be fair. Such a tedious subject though, car insurance, just one big racket at the end of the day isn't it.

I've used Adrian Flux a fair amount over the years. You can't judge a broker by just one quote.

Indeed, for my Honda CBF1000, they are often the cheapest going. Great cover and friendly folk to deal with. I would give them a thumbs up!  :D

Good link. I'd heard about that being proposed. I think it is way overdue. Good work FCA.

I agree, price creep is dishonest IMO.

It lost Direct Line a customer. They didn't half moan when I called in to cancel renewal. Told them I was bored with phoning them every year to negotiate.

I see auto renewal is to be an opt in or out, also long overdue. I told DL to stop it a decade ago but they never did.
Let's be careful out there !

Recent experience with house insurance through Marks and Spencer Bank operated by HSBC and underwritten by Aviva.

Renewal quoted as 70%, (yes 70%), more than the same policy online. There was no canceling the auto renewal without lapsing the policy.

Was told  to let the policy lapse and take out a new one ...... and benefit from any special offers!!!!

Deceitful to the point of dishonest.

Hi.
Sorry we couldn't help out with a competitive quotation but thanks for giving us a try.
Regards,
