I acquired a DD fascia adapter from eBay for a fiver so I thought I'd try an upgrade to a CarPlay unit. I have fitted the unit to the fascia with a couple of fabricated brackets. Will the fascia fit well enough into the dash with just the clips and without the bolts that are used on the original radio.
I'm hoping to remove the heater controls from the original fascia and mount them on this without having to unclip the Bowden cables which looks like a complete nightmare, anyone tried it this way?

After a lot of struggling with removing & reattaching the heater controls, me and a mate managed to fit the double din unit today and everything works perfectly except for some glitches with the steering wheel controls
CarPlay works a dream and with the addition of a £20 dongle from Amazon, CarPlay is also wireless.
I now have a choice of 5 apps for Navigation, Bluetooth music, handsfree phone and voice control.
I’m really happy with a total outlay of less than £200.
It really has brought the Jazz right up to date in the Infotainment department.

Nice installation, looks factory fit to me.
Loving the 'H' Honda logo on the start up screen. 8)

I must say, that looks excellent. Well done.

Thank you for the comments. It's working really well and I have managed to sort the steering wheel controls, it was just a case of RTFM!
