My understanding is you can extend the normal 3-year-warranty at any time (within the first 3 years) to the extended 5-year-warranty.
The warranty is not included in the five-year-service-plan!

Anyway, later today I'm making a trip of about 30 miles along mixed roads, so I'll initialise it before I start and see if that makes a difference.

Success! Did a 66-mile round trip on a mix of motorway, rural and urban roads and the warning didn't come on. Hopefully the car will have learned the lesson! :D

FMIB, thanks I hadn't seen that link. 

So it sounds like today if you purchase a FIVE Service Plan, you are able to extend the warranty to 5 years for 399 pounds. 

It's not clear to me from that website link whether this applies to FIVE Service plans that were purchased today,  6 months ago, or as in my case 2 years and 11 months ago?

Manufacturers these days dont want owners to be able to change oil bulbs etc why would they help you ID the fuses.
I would look at the design of the F box on ealier years then attempt top match the layout.

I have been motoring now for 45 years (I know, I'm still a "youngster")  :D and have owned various brands of cars.
Over all these years I never had a blown fuse that wasn't due to my own tampering with the car.

My take on blown fuses is this:
- if I have tampered with the car, I know exactly what to look for  ;)
- if I have NOT tampered with the car, I will have a professional look over the car because there must be something amiss (otherwise the fuse wouldn't have blown in the first place, would it?)

Regarding bulbs: As more and more of the car's light bulbs are now LEDs which are supposed to last a "lifetime" there is less and less of owner-replacable light bulbs.
On my MY24 Advance only the rear indicatiors, the trunk lightning and some of the interiour lights (vanitiy mirror lightning e.g.) are "real" bulbs.

And: The replacement of those - to my recollection - is clearly outlined in the manual.

The last 2 punctures I had, decades ago, no bottle of anything would have fixed those

In addition to @Kremmen's thoughts please keep in mind that a tyre once exposed to this gunk cannot officially be repaired and be used any longer!

On the upside: Modern tyres are much more forgiving of normal punctures and our chances are good to safely reach next service station thanks to the on-board air compressor (just don't use the gunk!)

As I understand the situation, the problem relates to vehicles manufactured within the dates previously mentioned and is due to incorrect/wrong assembly by Honda's subcontractor, (wrong oil used supposedly)
I don't believe there is anything wrong with the basic design of the component, so current supply should be fine, assuming final inspection is up to scratch.
I also have Jazz Advance, July23 reg. currently on 7000 miles. I'm very happy with it and would happily buy another one.

When I ordered mine in Sept 2022 for Nov 2022 delivery, if I took the min Honda finance and paid a min 6 months I would get the 5 years service pack for free. This is indeed 5 years servicing, but the 3 year warranty remains. The paperwork states just the service plan.
When I checked recently there is an option to pay an additional £399 for the Honda care plan which extends the warranty and breakdown service for an additional 2 years.
No mention of this additional package was mentioned or offered to me at the time.

If I keep the car beyond 3 years, for me it's a no brainer to extend the warranty. Cars are far too complicated and expensive not to pay the reasonable cost to extend the warranty for peace of mind.

I owned my 23 plated Jazz Advance few weeks now and love it.  (Ex demo 1500 miles when bought) now done 3000 miles and in for first its first  annual service next week. I have another two years  Honda warranty but I will most likely buy extended warranty for another 3 years… making 6 years.. peace mind really. Not so much because of this issue, but other issues that may surface when you drive car designed like an Apple mac
If your Jazz is not manufactured btwn 2/7/2018 and 15/9/2022 you are less likely to experience this fault (my understanding).   God luck !!

Do you think that if I buy a brand new MY24 Jazz I shouldn’t have to worry about this issue?

It shouldn't. It's a deflation warning system, and the Handbook, page 443 says:
"The low tyre pressure indicator will not come on as a result of over inflation."
Honda's use of the phrase "will not" suggests they're pretty certain about that. Whether that certainty still holds if the calibration hasn't achieved the required speed envelope isn't clear.

Before you all groan, this is an important point (for me at least)

I'm of average intelligence or better, but honestly I've had so many problems understanding this warranty, or more accurately the Five Care Package, as I think it should be rightly called. 

My Crosstar was in for service the other day (3 years) and the service team informed me that whilst my service was free for 5 years (yippee) my warranty runs out in a months time!  I told them I begged to differ.  I had purchased car with a 5 year warranty, 5 year recovery, 5 year servicing - free.  It was part of a deal in (June) 2021 and in order to get it you had to take out the PCP finance - which I did.  I told them I had the documentation at home, but that the salesman sitting behind me in the showroom could corroborate the fact that this was the case.  He heard the conversation and told the service team, and the dealership are now checking into this.

When I got home, I checked my docs for one of very few times since June 2021, and found that I had a letter from Honda confirming the FIVE plan (Aug 2021)  but calling it a "FIVE Service Plan", with actually no mention of warranty extension or recovery cover.  I'd filed it away in 2021 without realising the discrepancy. I just thought, FIVE confirmed - done.  This is clearly why the service people at the dealership see my warranty as soon to expire. 

I have emailed the salesman to see if he can sort it out.  I should have checked the paperwork more closely.  I think now I'm going to be 800 quid out of pocket buying an extra 2 year warranty, as I cant imagine the dealership taking that hit.  Even though, I distinctly remember the conversation with the sales guy at the time, and the fact that he backed that up in the showroom the other day as mentioned above. 

I'm writing this more as a warning to everyone else to check exactly what they have in paperwork for the "FIVE" deal - hopefully nobody else has made the same mistake as me!

Mine that I did pay extra for at the time of Order in 2020 is headed "Honda 5 Year Care Package" and has all 3 entitlements shown on the first page.
