can a 2009 CR-V be a good buy?
« on: June 10, 2024, 08:29:28 PM »
Hey guys,
I know it depends on the specific car's condition. But generally speaking is a 2009 CR-V (automatic transmission) with 43000 miles a good buy? I know Hondas are reliable, the price is good but it is 15 years old.. any opinions?? Thank you!

Rust in the UK would be the biggest concern, probably less so in warmer countries. Age does not stop a car being perfectly reliable if it has been maintained correctly, and certainly would not stop me from buying a car. Our wee Jazz is 11yrs old this year, and is as reliable as when new.

Just check everything works, and get the longest test drive possible. No reason not to go for it.
