Honda Jazz Mk2 2008-2015 / Thule Roof Rack Reference Numbers
« Last post by jimmy_jazz on Today at 07:50:04 PM »
Hey guys,

First post - did a lot of reasearch and finally worked out a couple of roof rack kits that would fit my 2012 Jazz so thought I'd share them:

Thule 754 Footpack (discontinued) = 1465 Fitting Kit (discontinued)

Thule Evo Clamp Footpack 7105 = Thule Evo Clamp Kit 5126

The Evo footpack kits have superseeded the 7XX family, however I'm sure there are other combinations out there. If people have bought different kits please add them to this list!

Are you sure your gear selector wasn't on reverse (R)? Because if its on R and front wipers are on at the same time, then the rear wiper turns on automatically.

Thank God I got rid of my Hybrid HR-V and CR-V before this happened.

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Rear wiper not stopping
« Last post by Jazzy2022 on Today at 04:03:57 PM »
On a couple of occasions recently, the rear wiper on my car didnít stop wiping regardless of the position of the rear wiper control on the wiper switch stalk. Everything else on the switch (front wipers, front and rear wash) works as it should.

Does anyone know if the problem is more likely to be with the rear wiper control or the rear wiper motor?

I agree with the comments re Autoexpress. The same VAG results in every test, winner. They never consider the woes of ownes outside of warranty, which any time on VW group car forums will confirm that there are lots of problems.

Real world detatchment is another thing AE are guilty of. They quote monthly PCP figures of £400+ as de rigueur for average family man? Yeah OK AE.

Good result for Honda in Which? Lexus and Toyota usally do well in these too, together with the Korean manufacturers.

If you look in the owners book it will show the different grades suitable. As Madas says, either will be fine.

My Jazz lives on 5w30 A5 spec oil. I tend to buy via trusted Ebay stores and a brand I know of. Recently Ford Castrol Magnatec A5 5W-30 from Ford UK at just £6.50 L. Quality at a good price eBay item number:393363266809.

I  took  my earlier model Jazz to a Honda dealer for a service and MOT.  I asked if they had had cars with the brake failure problem.  They said they had had "quite a few".

I think it should be the subject of a recall.  I don't think we can be certain that it won't happen on the move.
