Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / N/S retractable door mirror.
« Last post by Julian R on Today at 02:27:39 PM »I am having problems with my mk4 auto folding door mirror on the passenger side.
Now we eventually have some warm weather it won't auto fold in any more than 2 inches without me helping it in. Sometimes you can hear the mechanism clicking too.
When it's cold it works perfectly.
Anyone else experiencing this.

They got their trim guy in who repaired it, he did an excellent job.

Took over two months for the replacement condenser to arrive so we endured the hottest part of the summer without airccon. This is my seventh Honda and definitely the most unreliable. I will be trading it in for a Kia very soon.Off topic I know, our a/c packed up, apparently it's a leak at the condenser, Honda build quality isn't what it was.I had the same thing on my Crosstar last summer, replaced under warranty but it took several months to get the part.

I've had Honda Jazz cars since 2010, the current car is No6 and my second Mk4, a 2023 Advance.
No problems of any sort with any of them
Totally different cars though, with totally different drive trains. The latter only a year old, so I hope you can say it still performs as well as the Mks that went before it as the years roll by.

« Last post by chas56 on Today at 12:57:19 PM »You could have a coil/sparkplug breaking down, they can cause electrical interference which can be picked up by the Crankshaft position sensor.I (perhaps unwisely) reset the onboard computer with the scanner, so there's presently no "check engine" light displayed.
Question: if I replace the spark plugs, can I keep driving as normal and keep my eye out for the return of the check engine light?
I'm not sure about the potential severity of the problem that's triggering the P0339 code.

and i am, hoping that i could bring back my GE to its prime fuel efficiency.
is this still possible?
and if yes, what are the things that i need to do?
what are the parts that need to be cleaned and replaced?

Wasn't it Seneca who said: "We suffer more in imagination than in reality.”?
Meaning, we spend so much time worried about how bad things are going to be, that we actually torture ourselves more than the thing we’re worried about ever could (that is, if it happens at all).
I just enjoy driving the Jazz. If something goes wrong, it's early enough to worry, right?
Wise words. Can't help myself though - one of life's worriers.
