Lower emissions for 2012 Honda Insight
« on: September 10, 2011, 02:41:08 PM »
The 2012 Insight offers lower CO2 emissions of 96 g/km, zero road tax and exemption from the London Congestion Charge. The 2011 model's CO2 emissions of 101 g/km means it just misses the 100 g/km CO2 threshold for London Congestion Charge exemption....as indeed does the Jazz Hybrid at 104 g/km of CO2.

Other changes for 2012 include a new front grille and smaller rear spoiler and improvements to the suspension, engine and interior.

It will be interesting to see how sales of the Insight stack up in the future as rumour suggests Honda has engineered the 2012 'Euro' Civic hatchback to take the IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) hybrid pack.
