« Last post by Jazzie on January 11, 2025, 01:43:02 PM »The excess speed beep only sounds if you are not slowing down when exceeding the speed limit detected. According to the handbook the beep can be turned off using the vehicle settings menu but I haven’t tried that yet.
You can turn off the over-speed beep by going through the menus. But... it has to be re-done every time you start the car which is an intolerable nuisance.
However, it only beeps three times with each transgression and the volume can be adjusted so that the beeps are not too annoying.

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: Mk4 2021 Jazz Brake failure
« Last post by chicksee on January 11, 2025, 01:35:27 PM »I’m getting quite stressed now
Having had the break simulator problem and taken it in for repair, (confirmed after diagnostics test) the dealer rang me yesterday to inform me that Honda have informed them that this is not covered by the extended warranty (which I have) but they will be contacting Honda again on Monday and mentioned a possible good will reduction.
I said surely this should be covered under the extra 2 years warranty I have but they said they will come back to me on Monday.

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: Insurance again
« Last post by Karoq on January 11, 2025, 12:15:35 PM »2023 My eNiro (Fully electric) £386 with Aviva. on renewal they wanted £550.
Needless to say I told them to take a hike, including my house insurance. I had been with them for at least 15 years. It made no difference, they have no loyalty to their longstanding customers.
I went to Tesco via 'compare.com' and got it for £362.
I am renewing on 1st Feb with Tesco for £418 (I checked Aviva and they wanted £880!!!!!)
I have been most impressed with Tesco. They are extremely helpful, you can speak to a real person with no difficulty with having to understand any foreign accents and you gt a 10% discount if you have a Tesco Club Card. I am prepared to accept the increase as I am now 79. God help me when I'm 80 next year!!
They are a PROPER self contained insurance company, not like the mickey mouse companies who pretend to be pukka insurance companies, such as The Banks, AA John Lewis etc.
SWMBO was T boned a couple of years ago at a junction, car written off, she neck injury etc. She had to deal with 5 different companies to get it sorted it took 6 months and the mental stress was worse than the physical damage..... Insurance 'company' Lloyds Bank with whom she banked. Absolutely B****Y useless.
NEVER AGAIN.

My post was a typo as it shows a 20% drop, not 80% as I originally posted
