Honda Jazz Mk2 2008-2015 / Re: Cloned No. Plate, £480 in fines
« Last post by GBH on December 02, 2025, 09:23:57 AM »Have read about this problem on another motoring site and an oftenmentioned suggestion is to add a small sticker somewhere (such as "baby on board" or similar) which would make your car different to the miscreant's which would thus add some credulity to your "not me Guv" response.

« Last post by ColinB on December 02, 2025, 07:16:20 AM »Thanks, that’s the video I found originally. I was a little concerned about the potential for damage getting the garnish plate off. However, it went exactly how he describes, just a few minutes to get the plate off and the nozzles out. I elected to replace with new rather than descale the originals, and now I have a proper spray up onto the screen again rather than the feeble trickle I had before.

What's changed
I suspect that hard bit of plastic that is restricting movement and making it bend more

When I read leather in the trim description of the published brochure I expect leather (as defined in tge Oxford English dictionary) not some kind of rubbish man made material that’s not fit for purpose 😡😡😡😔👎

« Last post by NetworkMan on December 01, 2025, 09:59:17 PM »Start 'Modes and Routines' app and then choose 'Routines'at the bottom of the screen.
Choose '+' at the top.
You should then see the 'If' section and the 'Then' section.
Under 'If' choose Connections->Bluetooth device -> Device -> Honda HFT then 'Done'
Under 'Then' it's probably easiest to search for 'read' choose 'read text aloud' and type in the text. Choose done. Choose save and provide a name for the routine.
You may need to turn on Bixby voice. I don't like Ms Bixby's voice but don't know an easy way to change it!
If you need help with the hotspot stuff please ask.

They cloned our number plates and used stolen post/names and addresses to open accounts on-line. Police could only advise buying a cheap number plate so the current plate would be SORN'd

Bentley or Rolls Royce include such things within the cost . You can bet the leather will last many decades of use as you have probably paid as much money for seats as we paid for a complete Jazz . In many normal cars the leather is going to be a very thin skin bonded to a fabric and more so to be vegan plastic or other synthetic clever stuff . Im sure you can buy optional leather on many ‘ normal cars but i would like to see a material sample to view its thickness !

Honda Jazz Mk4 2020 - / Re: MPG for those interested
« Last post by Lincolnshire Rambler on December 01, 2025, 08:41:44 PM »Most of my journeys dont involve stop start urban traffic , so virtually all of my travel from a cold start involve the ICE running irrespective of summer or winter. My nearest town is 4 miles away . In this part of world traffic lights are rare, i travel through more level crossing than traffic light junctions ! The energy for winter driving does impact fuel by maybe 5-10 mpg as lights wipers heating rear screen mirrors etc all come from the fuel tank. So yes the engine bay could manage the heat loss better but 60% of the ICE fuel is lost as heat etc . But then a F1 hybrid engine only manages 50% efficiency . Toyota tried a hot water tank several years ago as part of their hybrid evolution but didnt adopt it . Whatever MPG my jazz returns its still a step above my similar sized 1.4 nissan note delivered and no doubt what mk 3 jazz owners achieved too ?
