Removing Passenger Side Door Pillar Trim
« on: May 05, 2019, 10:14:14 PM »
Trying to install a DAB Antenna into my MkII Honda Jazz Vibe so need to remove the side pillar trim to attach the glass mount aerial.  Is it as simple as removing the rubber door seal and then pulling out the trim from the top and sliding it up off the airbag restraining clip as I've seen in a Civic YouTube clip??

Advice would be appreciated as I've never removed trim with airbag behind it.

Cheers

You don't need to pull the trim off, simply pulling the door seal away and springing the trim apart from the doorframe will be sufficient to squeeze the cable in.
Fitted my dash cam power cable ( albeit the drivers side) in a similar manner and routed the cable the same way and behind the roof lining, just above the windscreen.
