Jazz still the best small car
« on: January 19, 2024, 11:54:41 AM »
According to Which magazine Feb 2024 the Jazz is the best small car.
Here is what they have to say:
OUR PICK
HONDA JAZZ (2020-) 73%
PRICE FROM £25,442
OVERALL MPG 55.4
'A pleasure to drive' and 'why
choose anything else? are just
two of the comments about the Jazz
that we received from our survey
respondants. And despite fierce
competition, the Jazz continues its
spectacular run at the top of the
small car class. It may be more
striking to look at than drive, but its
focus on driving simplicity impressed
both us and Which? members, so it's
no wonder that it's such a popular
car to own. Plenty of you also
mentioned the amazingly low fuel
consumption they had recorded
It doesn't quite top the efficiency
table, but it's still very impressive.

Nice car and nice win in Which.

But - not everyone can afford or want sot spend 25K on a small car.  A Hyundai i10 costs 10K less, if all you want is a fairly nice urban transportation.

Ive got a Crosstar but my uncle wants a new small car and he said no to the Honda based on price.  I can understand that.   :-X

I suppose it depends on how you are going to drive the car, and what journeys you make. If you want something just to nip to the shops, a Hyundai/Dacia/Seat would be fine. If you did a lot of miles, long distances and regular family outings, then would the Hyundai be as reliable or as easy to drive as the Jazz?

or as long term comfortable, and not just in the front! You pay your price and take your choice, everyone's needs are different.
