I guess most of us don't have a jack and tools to get a wheel off.

Which is comical when the manual shows a suggested wheel rotation pattern !
Let's be careful out there !

Probably 5.5cm, if they are the same as the ones on the crosstar.

...Ordered some cheapish plain Black centre caps, 56mm for now just to see what they looked like. That size Honda badged ones were very thin on the ground when I looked.
They took longer to fit than the actual wheel change!  :o pretty tight fit (which means they'll fall off soon enough  ;D)
I think the overall look is much better although I know lots won't like it.. Not sure about changing to black wheel nuts or some black nut covers, or indeed just leave them silver as is.

...And yes they need a good clean, along with the car  ;D
Matte finish,  best just using soapy water? or is there a recommended product?

They look a lot better than I expected. 8)

I'd leave the nuts silver.  When I was looking at black wheel nuts on flea bay, a few listings admitted the black  coating wasnt very durable. (passive zinc ?)  Possibly true of those listings who make no mention of this.  Plus you may need a  set of black locking nuts.  caps may fit the hexagonal nuts  but not the locking one.

I wonder if ,with a lot of effort and ingenuity ,it could be possible to fit inexpensive proprietary 16 " hub caps  .
Maybe  cut off the clips and springs from the back of the hub cap, drill 5 holes through the hub caps that can be used to bolt  them to suitable  nylon clamps and spacers fitted into 5 of the holes on the wheel.   Care would need to be taken that its secure and doesnt chafe the wheel.

...Yeah maybe leaving them silver is the way to go.
Ingenuity isn't something I have an over abundance of  ;D

... I've taken one trim off. I do like the looks of just the alloy, only problem is there is no centre cap. This makes it look a bit crap really. I'm guessing Honda don't do something to fit as they probably don't intend for people to remove the trims.

If the hubs are prepared for 'standard' Jazz caps (56mm hub) I have two different sets - used (except 2 off individual shiny which are new) - Due to file size have put photos in for sale section

Or resize it to a smaller file size  using an image editor. .  Cropping to closer  detail may be enough ,or if not,  resize the whole image  to a smaller file size.   Computers and devices often include a simple editor that can do these jobs  (such as 'paint' on a PC which allows you to copy the image at chosen percentage of its original size.  )    Some editors  (often available free on line) also allow you to save the same size image but at a lower jpeg resolution. Giving a large  reduction in file size for very little loss in image quality. The quality is more  than good enough for posting on sites like this.

Thanks for that - did that via paint for the other picture but for some reason same process wouldn't work on this one, a W11 vagary?

Not sure if Honda has bumped up their spare parts prices recently, but someone has just been quoted £700 for a new 16" wheel and tyre for a Jazz from a main dealer! That's after paying £295 for their first service too, so no discounts look likely.

£600 for the alloy and £100 for the tyre - even the dealer was embarrassed about the cost.

This was at a UK dealer, standard 16" EX alloy - maybe the one with the £150 plastic wheel cover costs a lot more?

Hidden away on Hondas UK website as part of the configurator - it looks like maybe you can exchange your standard alloys for those ones - £960 is the cost for 4 of them after exchanging the standard ones:

Fitted price: £960.00

No reduction for not taking the standard wheels:

On the Road Price £24,975.00
Grade and engine£24,015.00
Colour and trim£0.00
Your accessories £960.00
