If you don’t want the auto stop ……. When you get to the junction, traffic lights or roundabout and have to stop, just don’t wait there with your foot on the brake. Put it in neutral and apply your handbrake. The engine will stay running. Auto stop will only be working while you are stopped, in gear (Drive or Second (S)) and brakes applied. Yes?

Basically the stop/start is piss hysterically nonsense for all AND all in all COSTLY! Much more than the temporarely "save".
Why, I need go into multiple techy details to explain, which I'm not because the dreaded "zz...Z...zzz" noise will appear and includes efforts, but: On the ones that have an "Eco" switch. Simply pop out that switch and bridge it.
Problem solved. I am in the market for a 2015-2020 Dynamic and first thing I do is...
