UK images of the new Insight hybrid have appeared! Only minor differences set the UK-spec Insight aside from the US version shown earlier. The £15k hybrid - significantly cheaper then the Toyota Prius - may take power from the 1.4-litre i-VTEC engine found in the Jazz when it arrives here in April.

I thought I would just check what the DVLA have to say about the zero emission Honda reg RX 58 JXE well here are the details... £120.00 tax pa - why bother??

Erm the insight is not a zerp emission car is puts out just over 100co2
and under new tax legislation should be £0.00 tax when it goes on sale
obviously the DVLA need to update there systems re the co2 output of the vehicle

If it wasn't for the worries about disposal of batteries at the end of life of the car, I would have gone for one of these.
I can well see my next car in 3-5 years time being something like the Insight if they can sort that side of it out.

the es spec looks Ok but for how many £'s?
the real test for this new model is the size of the boot - if you doubt this take alook at any hybrid boot esp the civic small isn't the word for them.
The prices are due to be released in February according to Honda Site.
